The Safety Committee is dedicated to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment across all activities within the rocket team. Its primary responsibilities include identifying and assessing potential hazards, developing safety protocols, and overseeing the implementation of risk mitigation strategies during design, manufacturing, testing, and launch operations. The committee works in close coordination with all technical and operational departments to ensure that safety is an integral part of every process. By fostering a culture of responsibility and preparedness, the committee aims to support the team’s technical objectives while prioritizing the well-being of all members.

Hello, my name is Rob. I currently serve as the chair of the safety committee. Next to this, I am also an advisor for the recovery department, through which I've learned countless lessons with the team. I want to teach the lessons learned of the past to the new members of the team and ensure that no mistake needs to be made twice. As such, I am responsible for the development and enforcement of safety protocols, reviewing procedures, and coordinating the safety of large operations such as launches and static tests. My goal is to keep the members of the team safe and to build an image of safety and reliability for the team.
