The AQUILO II is an improved version of AQUILO I. This second rocket featured a parachute and nose-cone camera. These improvements were made to increase the chances of the rocket surviving during landing and also to better the understanding of rocket flight patterns. This was a huge leap forward, especially since the possibility of relaunching the rocket is significantly better.

The first and only launch of AQUILO II was a complete success. The footage below shows the rocket lifting off, hitting apogee and successfully landing.
